Convention to do with "Thimbles"- March 2015
Being pedantic I am not quite sure what the name of this club is -
"Thimble Collectors Club of South Africa"
"South African Thimble Club"
"The South African Thimble Collectors Club"
anyway I digress -
The South African Club proudly presented a "Thimble Indaba" at Kwalata Game Lodge between 5 and 8 March 2015. There were talks given by knowledgeable members and there were also purchases and sales of thimbles. In between eating and drinking also took place. Some people escaped from me by attending special tours away from the lodge which Sylvia and I did not attend.
Sylvia and I enjoyed the company of everyone there.
Armed with a camera I took some snaps now and again while everyone was enjoying themselves.
This set of pictures will probably only be of interest to members of the club and they are snaps not photographic masterpieces - not that I have ever taken any masterpieces. The pictures were taken with two cameras and therefore there are two sequences. Some of the pictures are of the art that I found interesting.
